Weddings have run in my family since I was a young girl as my mum opened and owned her very own bridal shop. It was like a dream to see all these amazing dresses and meet all of these lovely brides! This is when I knew I would love to go into weddings as my profession. Now I’ve been doing this for 6 years and I love it!

From the age of 16, I studied Professional Cookery and then went on to study Food and Beverage Services before moving to Oxford to work in a 2 Michelin star restaurant. In recent years I have found my passion in Weddings and Events at The Parmar Collection having worked in the Operations team for two years. It has given me so much knowledge including organisation, food, culture and mostly attention to detail.

I’ve always been so interested and excited about all thing’s weddings!! A very fond memory of mine as a child is playing wedding themed games on the computer for hours and having little diaries titled “My Wedding” in which I drew pictures of what I would want my wedding to look like! Soo much so after completing my bachelor’s degree in international Travel and Tourism with Event management I knew where my heart was – in the wedding and events industry!

From growing up as the bridesmaid for my family on their big days, this drove my passion in wanting to create these special moments in my everyday life. I love seeing end to end projects and working in weddings and events make it a unique experience as everybody’s dream day is so different. Being a part of the events industry for many years has opened my eyes to the diversity within events and many more occasions to explore.
